The CA Senate will decide in just a few short weeks whether to vote in favor of S.B.416, a bill that would ban the factory-farm practice of feeding low doses of antibiotics to healthy livestock and poultry animals throughout their lives. The practice is used to boost growth rates and counteract unhygienic CAFO conditions.  We need your help writing letters to the editor (LTEs) to help bring media attention to this bill!

Can you help by submitting a letter to the editor to one of your local papers? 

Not sure where to send it or how to write it?  Send me an email and I will follow up by providing a template and tips for writing an LTE.  We also have a list of local media outlets and contacts in your area, so we can help get your letter sent to the right place.  Send me an email with any other questions about submitting or writing an LTE.  Let us know if you speak and write Spanish!

We must get these letters submitted by Friday, May 22nd!
