Searching for a love that won't disappoint?

February 12, 2009

Dear Friend,

Food & Water Watch can you find the perfect match.

This Valentine's Day, fall in love with something that will never do you wrong – tap water!

Bottled water's tasteless flirtation has lost its sizzle and the American public is chatting up tap water. What a match!

As you know, bottled water is not safer, costs more and hurts the environment. It's time to quench your thirst with something that costs mere pennies and doesn't harm the environment. Remember the facts and you'll never be torn between tap and bottled water again!

Many of you have already taken steps to show your true feelings about the bottled water sham. But we can't stop our push to break America of the bottled water habit. Here's how you can help:

1. Sign the pledge to Take Back the Tap and take control of your right to water rather than paying high-priced water bottlers.

2. Support funding for clean, safe water.

3. Spread the word – encourage your friends, family, favorite restaurants, university campuses and city governments to break the bottled water habit. It's only through the commitment of friends like you that we can ensure we have safe, clean and affordable water.

And don't be shy – with a love like this, feel free to shout it from the rooftops: "I heart tap water!"

Sincerely,
YOUR admirers at Food & Water Watch

P.S. Food & Water Watch can help you find the perfect match... there for you morning, noon, and night, it runs hot and cold but never bottles up its feelings... it's better than chocolate... it's tap water.
Pledge to love it.
